Why: For its showy, semi-double, mildly fragrant, everblooming, fuchsia-to-pink blossoms—up to 19 petals per bloom—blending into an apricot yellow centre and set off by rich green foliage. A hardy, vigorous, own-root, disease-resistant spreader well suited to borders, beds, containers or mass planting—even on slopes.

Size: Up to 90 cm tall and wide.

Cultivation: easy to grow in full sun to part shade on sites with average (reasonably drained, sandy loam), moist soils; hardy to Zone 4 or even lower with winter protection.
