Congratulations Skwij and team!
I see Ontario won the Canadian Club Curling championship and were undefeated throughout the event. Quite an achievement!

Hi Joy,
Nice to hear you were a curler. I still curl and love it, but also really enjoy watching it. I was frustrated that there was such little coverage of this event. There was mention of 'live streaming' but I couldn't find it. What I read was very complimentary...they said the Ontario team pretty much put on a curling clinic... Would have been impressive to see!

I think this is the event that TSN is showing the highlights of this afternoon at 2pm eastern.

Joy, are you referring to the Canada Cup? I agree, exceptional curling by the ladies.
But the coverage of the event Skwij was in is the Dominion Club Championship. It is being shown right now on TSN.

Re: Congratulations Skwij and team!
We got back from Antigua late last night. Wonderful rest and relaxation!
We've been trying to catch up on the curling news. We were able to get into Scarborough on the Saturday morning to watch our daughter, (Caroline aka Skwij), in the final against Quebec, before heading off on holiday.
Not easy watching for a parent, especially as the game was so close in the first four ends, but with an absolutely fabulous two rocks from Skwij in the 5th end they took the lead and after another great end in the 7th, cruised to the finishing line! Whooppee. The team were exhausted, both emotionally and physically, but also so exhilerated, as they should be. They all played so well.
Hopefully Skwij will have saved links and newspaper clippings for us. The team were our small city's local heroes and got some great coverage!
Proud Mama and Papa, (~BBQ and DH).
