Huge Surprise This Morning (not a good one)

Pull up a chair and grab a cup of Java for a cozy chat about what's on your mind and what's happening in your neck of the woods. This is a strictly for fun non-gardening topics.

This is PIA, appropriately named. She followed me around for almost 2 years. Good Lord, I am such a dork

I had two big Crows eating something in my back lawn. There are holes from where the coons and skunks were digging for grubs. The ground was frozen on the surface but with the warm spell we have had it has thawed some.

a right, royal one at that Heidi.

Even though she was a PITA, just couldn't bring myself to shoo her away. Fergus, a male skunk, has been following me in the same manner for about 3 years now.

Dan...I believe anyone who cares about the critters, is lovable. I don't have to know you, to know you!

What's a dork to do Linda...lol. Usually, I don't name them, but when company comes, they usually do, so I just roll with it.

Even worse....last summer there was an explosion of Luna moth's here, so whenever I drove down the driveway, or had visitors, I always made sure all the moths' were removed before any vehicles were allowed up at the house. I have a hard time watching something so beautiful, being destroyed by machinery. Hence, total dork
