Birds
Does any one find there is a shortage of birds this Winter so far?

You're so lucky! I've never known them to be so scarce this time of year!

Re: Birds
Not really Dan. Just the neighbour 3 doors down had a chimney fire a few weeks ago. But I wouldn't think that would cause the lack of birds.

Re: Birds
Yes it would Dan. My 3 feeders are full of Wild Bird Seed Mix and there is no activity whatsoever!

Don't give up Linda. When the pickings get slim the birds will be about. Do you have many cats in the area?

Re: Birds
Not any more Sheila since we put the gate on the Garden Path. I did have several Juncos and Chickadees a few weeks ago, but now nothing! I'm thinking it's the ups and downs of the temperatures this Winter.

Re: Birds
Don't seem to have a shortage here Linda. Have chickadees, blue jays, Gray jays, evening grosbeaks, nuthatches, various types of woodpeckers, two ravens and numerous European starlings. Have to keep squirrels away from my feeders though or else there is nothing left for the birds when they arrive to dine.
