Severe ant problem

Postby carriej » Jun 10, 2013 12:59 pm

Hi Folks,

After two days of rain; I went out to check on my little garden in the sun. It is an elevated, 8x4 box style garden. I am growing carrots, wax beans, cucumbers, tomatoes and onions.

There are ants, everywhere. Not just a few; swarming balls of small black ants.

How do I get rid of these little beasts?

Keep digging them up so their tunnels keep getting collapsed and they can't keep the colony going in that spot Boiling water where you see a nest? Borax and jam mix to poison them? Neem oil spray? Raid Ant Killer liquid?
