tuberous begonias

Postby haili » Jul 20, 2014 7:33 pm

I over watered (I think) my hanging basket of begonias and they were drooping and looking sick. They have recovered but some of the stems are bare with maybe a bud or leaf right at the tip. Should I pinch them back? I gave them weak Miracle Grow last week.

You could pinch it back and I would recommend that you refrain from fertilizing plant until it recovers......fertilizers place added stress on plants recovering from overwatering etc.

Thanks Ian66. It was such a beautiful basket when I got it, it would be a shame to lose it.
