slugs

Hello,

I have containers to catch slugs but is there anything else I can use besides beer. I think it would be a waste. I have sunflowers growing from seed and the little creature ate all the leaves in one pot.

Very good website....I would go with the copper....slugs are repelled by it and it is permanent.....no need to re apply anything like the other methods.

i work part time at canadian tire as hardware.

there is lots of copper tubing about 7.99 for a solid pipe or a roll of soft copper tubing i see 11.19 per roll (not sure how long)

those are new brunswick prices.

speaking of slugs, i was cleaning the backyard of old wood and noticed slugs seem to love the old rotting wood. i better get it done and all away from the backyard/garden.

I've tried copper for a week now, but seems not working. Should I wait for a bit longer or should try other method? Thanks.

Sorry, I didn't check back. The copper worked a week later.
