A 'Weed Preventer'?

Postby Countryboy » Apr 20, 2013 7:10 pm

I just saw an ad . . on a Buffalo station . . for something I've never heard of before. A 'weed preventer' called Preen.

"The best way to control weeds in the garden is to prevent them from getting started in the first place. Preen weed preventers have specialized formulas to keep weed seeds from sprouting around trees and shrubs in both northern and southern landscapes."

One application apparently last three months.

Has anybody up here ever heard of this stuff?

I've never heard of it - I suspect it's only available in the US.

Going to their site, I sometimes got this video link... but mostly didn't. So I looked around and nailed it down in this link. It explains a little bit abt how the product works.
